DESCRIPTION:ESGAR: Advanced Abdominal Ultrasound Workshop\n\n\nAdvanced Ultrasound Workshop in Riga, Latvia 14-15 May, 2026\n \nThe Advanced Ultrasound Workshop is an educational initiative by ESGAR, endorsed by EFSUMB to cover the need for training in the area of contrast-enhanced ultrasound, elastography, and steatosis quantification of liver, intestinal and bowel ultrasound which are expanding applications in abdominal imaging.\nParticipants will explore basic and advanced interventional procedure skills (US guided biopsies, drainages and fusion techniques). Throughout the workshop, the keynote lectures and case discussions will cover everything from basic technical aspects of ultrasound to guidelines of application and innovations in Abdominal Ultrasound technologies.
