It is a portable, radiation-free imaging method that allows direct visualisation of joints, tendons, bursae and ethenses, while providing at the same time real time information on the presence of synovitis, tendonoelytritis, bursitis, fluid collection and enthesitis, as well as stuctural alternations.\nThis informational seminar is designed to highlight the basic principles of  muskuloskeletal ultrasound, proper image adjustment/ optimisation and systematic identification of the main antomical structures, with emphasis on the interpretation of findings in Gray Scale and Power Doppler.
