Ultrasonography for the Gastroenterologist – "See with Sound Inside the Abdomen"
The UEG Ultrasound Programme promotes the role of a major diagnostic and interventional tool in gastroenterology: clinical ultrasonography in the hands of the gastroenterologist.
All UGE Week participants are invited to explore the "world of imaging with sound". This year the Ultrasound programme offers basic and postgraduate courses on ultrasonography, individual hands-on training, and special lectures in abdominal
ultrasonography. It is specially designed for both young and senior gastroenterologists, with or without experience in ultrasonography, and also for those with interest in the new developments in ultrasound-based techniques.
The tutors will be at your side during the UEG Week to guide you on this interesting
diagnostic tool.
Main topics of the special lectures are Point of Care Ultrasound in Gastroenterology and "The new kids on the block" in abdominal ultrasound.
The Ultrasound Learning Area is run in courtesy of EFSUMB.
