Best Published Paper 500 euro prize

The following are the criteria:

  1. Each National Society (NS) would be invited to propose in writing to EFSUMB a maximum of two original articles on ultrasound but not a case report or review
  2. From a first author who is an EFSUMB member
  3. Published in any journal three calendar years before the EUROSON Congress citing the journal, date, volume number and pages but not an EFSUMB Guideline and excluding e-Publications
  4. Citations
  5. Quality of methodology
  6. Clinical impact
  7. Originality
  8. Age of author up to 45 at the time of publication or appears in PubMed
  9. Submitted to EFSUMB 4 months before a Congress
  10. Submitted as a PDF with author's CV and DOB
  11. Publications Committee will make the award when 3 or more papers are submitted for evaluation in any one year
  12. The winner will be announced at the EUROSON Congress
  13. The website will announce and advertise the prize
