Best Published Paper 500 euro prize
The following are the criteria:
- Each National Society (NS) would be invited to propose in writing to EFSUMB a maximum of two original articles on ultrasound but not a case report or review
- From a first author who is an EFSUMB member
- Published in any journal three calendar years before the EUROSON Congress citing the journal, date, volume number and pages but not an EFSUMB Guideline and excluding e-Publications
- Citations
- Quality of methodology
- Clinical impact
- Originality
- Age of author up to 45 at the time of publication or appears in PubMed
- Submitted to EFSUMB 4 months before a Congress
- Submitted as a PDF with author's CV and DOB
- Publications Committee will make the award when 3 or more papers are submitted for evaluation in any one year
- The winner will be announced at the EUROSON Congress
- The website will announce and advertise the prize
