TITLE: Acute Cholecystitis
DESCRIPTION:
An 68-year-old patient was brought into the emergency room for acute abdominal pain and a positive Murphy sign. Ultrasound examination has revealed an enlarged gallbladder with thick (edema) and duplicated gallbladder walls, highly suspicious for the diagnosis of acute cholecystitis.The diagnosis was confirmedlater on by surgery.
