Recommendation/Comment Microvascular dysfunction (MVD) seems not to be such uncommon even among non-elderly people and confers for the patients the same risk as an occlusive CAD.
Clinical implication The right diagnosis of MVD using myocardial contrast echocardiography (MCE) seems to be an important noninvasive diagnostic tool for patients with ´´false´´ positive stress tests findings.
