TITLE: Diverticulitis
DESCRIPTION:
B-mode ultrasound shows a thickened bowell wall (>4 mm) and a bright bowel outpouching with some degree of acoustic shadowing (due to the presence of gas or faeces) which is characteristic for diverticula.
