Each National Society (NS) would be invited to propose in writing to EFSUMB a maximum of two original articles on ultrasound but not a case report or review
From a first author who is an EFSUMB member
Published in any journal three calendar years before the EUROSON Congress citing the journal, date, volume number and pages but not an EFSUMB Guideline and excluding e-Publications

Originality
Age of author up to 45 at the time of publication or appears in PubMed
Submitted to EFSUMB 4 months before a Congress
Submitted as a PDF with author's CV and DOB
Publications Committee will make the award when 3 or more papers are submitted for evaluation in any one year
The winner will be announced at the EUROSON Congress
The website will announce and advertise the prize
