DESCRIPTION:

A patient was admitted intothe Gastroenterology department for fever, fatigue and malaise. At standardultrasounda well delineated,heterogeneous-anechoic structure in the left liver lobewas depicted. Aspiration was performed and the content turned out to be pus, thus proving the diagnosis of liver abscess
