Case:   8-year-old patient was sent for ultrasound examination due to fever, loss of appetite and abdominal pain. On examination tubular anechoic / fluid structure with the presence of a coprophyte in the lumen of the appendix, hyperechoic reaction of fat and mesentery around the process and increased vascularization of the wall and surrounding tissues were seen.
