TITLE:   Acute Cholecystitis

DESCRIPTION:

An 48-year-old patient was brought into the emergency room for acute abdominal pain located in the right upper quadrant. Ultrasound examination has revealed a distended gallbladder with thick and duplicated gallbladder walls and biliary sludge. The clinical and ultrasonographic signs are oriented towards the diagnosis of acute cholecystitis.
