TITLE: Acute Diverticulitis
DESCRIPTION:
An 38 years old patient was brought into the emergency room with intense pain localised into the left lower quadrant. In this ultrasound section of the sigmoid colon, the arrow is pointing to the pro eminent diverticulum with signs of inflammation like the inhomogeneous aspect, wall thickening and the loss of the multi layer pattern.
